THE CONCIERGE of Prince of Wales Island is what I'd call this incredible, laid back, fun, operation. We're only a couple weeks into our relationship with this company as customers, and we already feel like family. It is incredible to know that we have a Turn Key Op. that has us Covered from Jump Street! "Give Life changing experiences and include everything?" I'm IN, and I don't wanna go home. Maybe I wont. More as this adventure progresses, but I can say this. I already have a LOT of peace because the hard details are DONE. Darren likes to names his vehicles and he takes care of them like they were his own. Both vehicles we have rented were in a great condition and a pleasure to drive. Darren met us at the Hollis ferry and we dropped the truck off at the ferry when it was time to leave. Very convenient service and he even include a cooler and chairs to make our trip even more enjoyable. This company is a great company and very popular as you will see when Darren's vehicles are lined up along the river. When you speak to the fishermen make sure to find out their trucks name! Darren and his wife met us at the float plane docks when we landed in Hollis. We rented "Berry" one of their Toyota trucks and it worked perfect for us. It was very very nice to have the topper on the truck to keep our gear dry. They also provided us with all the camping gear (cook stove, lantern, sleeping pads, coolers, pots and pans, etc) we needed to stay comfortably at the forest service cabins on the island. We also rented a skiff to do some fishing on the saltwater. Darren and his wife were very accommodating and flexible with us. They have everything needed for all your adventures on Prince of Wales. We highly recommend renting from them and hope to come back soon. Darren is a one-of-a-kind individual that I am fortunate to have met. He understands customer service and customer satisfaction as well as anyone I have dealt with. He knows that for most of us this is our yearly vacation and we are escaping the rat race to get away from it all and he helps you ensure that nothing is left to chance. We rented "Bart" (great truck), a boat, 2 kayaks, fishing gear, chairs, bed rolls and full camping gear for our adventure on POW Island. Darren recommended all the things we should and shouldn't bring and helped us work out all the details of the trip. He and his wife are so nice and they thought of everything. All the equipment was in great working order and there were backup systems in place for everything in case we had issues (spare key for truck, two motors on boat, extra gas can, etc.). I was blown away looking at Darren's review score on google because he has 59 reviews with 5 stars. That is very unique and a testament to what great people they are and what an amazing job he does running his company. The man even flew in to check on us at Polk Cabin which was a special treat for everyone in our group! Our rental from Hollis Adventure Rentals worked out great. Darrin had a suburban waiting on our arrival. It was clean and reliable. Never worried about driving around the island. Will definitely use them again and would recommend them for any transportation needs on POW.
